2024-2025 SES FSO BOARD

Samantha Manley - President

Hey hi, I'm Samantha Manley, but you can call me Sam! This is my 3rd year at Sunderland, 2nd as a board member and 1st as the President!

I am a mom of 2, a current 3rd grader and a kindergartner! We moved from Arizona at the end of summer 2022 and have really enjoyed living in a place that has seasons! I'm a science teacher at Northern High School and love it! I grew up in AZ and spent about 8 years living in Washington state where I was an Aerospace Engineer with Boeing specializing in structures and propulsion systems. I am very active in the Girl Scouts as a co-leader for both of my girls troops, the welcome specialist with the service unit and the communications chair with the association. And no, I don't know how to say "no" when it comes to volunteering haha! I am heavily involved in my children's lives trying to share in as much as I can with them!

With the free time I do get I try to keep up with my latest crochet project, playing games with the kids whether it's computer, card or board, or exploring new places in MD. I am also the webmaster for the FSO website, so if you find an error or inconsistency or maybe you are interesting in helping maintain the website, please reach out, we welcome any and all the volunteers! And if you see me around Calvert County, say hi!!!

Hannah Stanislawski- Secretary

Hannah.jpg

Hello everyone! My name is Hannah Stanislawski and this is my second year as Secretary of the FSO. We joined this community two years ago when we moved here from Palmdale, California. I live here with my husband, Darren, our three remarkable children, seven-year-old Andrew and five-year-old twins Grant and Lincoln as well as my wonderful sibling, June.

I was born and raised in California. My husband and I married in 2015. We welcomed Andrew in 2016 and life was simple! Since life was so easy with one child we figured, “what’s one more?” When one more split into two identical boys who fought so unbelievably hard to thrive our life became a tad bit more complicated. Grant and Lincoln were born at 27 weeks after weeks of complications and spent the first three months of their lives in the hospital. When they finally came home Grant was on oxygen and both boys had fragile immune systems. That meant no working for myself while I spent their first two years keeping them isolated. And then in 2020 when they turned two, the pandemic hit, and we spent another year and half in isolation.

Finally in 2022 all three boys were able to go back to school in person and work to catch up with their peers. We moved to Sunderland in September last year and the Calvert County school system immediately helped us find the perfect placement for our boys. Grant and Lincoln learned SO much last year in pre-k and are now thriving in kindergarten. Andrew has loved every moment of school here and is enjoying second grade. Our family feels so lucky to have joined such an amazing community. I look forward to getting to know everyone this year!! Thank you for having me!

Toni Crabb - Grade Level Chair

Hello!! My name is Toni Crabb and I have lived in Maryland since 2023. I currently work as the lunch monitor here and LOVE it!

I volunteer around the school as often as I can. Supporting the teachers and helping make their classrooms run smoother allows the kids to get the attention they need. There are so many sweet, adorable kids and I sincerely enjoy hearing about the things going on in their lives. Sunderland kids are the next generation and deserve all the love and kindness we can give.

~Love and Kindness are never wasted~
