Though the FSO board is made up of a 5-person elected panel, a majority of the FSO events are run with the support of special committees! Some committees remain the same year to year, such as Fall Festival and Winter Wonderland, and sometimes committees form based on the unique needs of a particular school year!

 

Serving on a special committee allows you to volunteer for the school on a more limited basis than an elected board potion, but committees are absolutely essential! Your committee may only plan one event (repeated each year) or you may choose to be on several committees! We're also happy to welcome new ideas and form committees for them! Perhaps you're new here and you have great ideas to share with us!

 

Whatever your vision is, however limited your time is, we need volunteers like you to help! If every family donated just ONE HOUR of volunteer time each school-year, we'd have over 700 hours of help to run the FSO! Below is a list of just some of our committees that we need help with!
